Begin your truffle adventure in Buzet with a warm welcome of traditional Istrian brandies. Learn about the different types of truffles, the history of truffle hunting in the Mirna River Valley, and the local legacy of Buzet – the town of truffles. A short walk leads to a private family-owned forest, where you'll embark on a guided truffle hunt with trained dogs. After the hunt, enjoy a delicious 3-course truffle-based meal. Start with cold appetizers including truffle cheese, salami, and canapés, followed by a main course of scrambled eggs with fresh truffles, prepared together with your hosts. Finish with vanilla ice cream topped with white truffle honey. Homemade wine, juices, brandies, and water are served throughout the meal.
